Once a developer favourite for general automation, it has leaned hard into AI, adding native nodes for LLMs and multi-step agents so workflows can reason and act rather than just move data. Because it's open-source and self-hostable, it appeals to teams with data-residency or cost constraints, while a managed cloud option serves everyone else.

By late 2025 it reported more than 700,000 developers and 3,000-plus enterprise customers, alongside a Series C valuing it around $2.5B.
