Barcelona-based Altan is building an 'agent-native' platform where teams of autonomous AI agents design, build, deploy and operate full-stack software from a text or voice prompt.

The ambition is to compress the whole software lifecycle into an orchestrated swarm of agents rather than a single code generator. Early in its journey, it has already attracted tens of thousands of users.

It is among the most ambitious bets in the agentic-software space, and one of Spain's notable young AI startups.
