Bioptimus

Paris-based Bioptimus is building multi-modal foundation models for biology that span scales from molecules to tissue, aiming to do for the life sciences what large language models did for text.

Its early work centers on its H-Optimus pathology models, with broader ambitions across medicine, diagnostics and biotech. The thesis is that a unified model of biological data can accelerate discovery across the whole field.

It draws on France's deep bench of AI and life-sciences research talent.
